How we decide what is trending
Trending is a claim, so here is the working behind it. No scraped rankings, no borrowed charts, no numbers we cannot show you the source of.
01An editor's ranking
The leaderboard is the questions we are asked most, ordered by the person who maintains this archive. It is not search-volume data, and we do not publish a number against it, because we do not measure one.
02Computed from the archive
Every look, dupe, retailer and occasion below the leaderboard is calculated from the decoded outfits themselves. A piece cannot trend here until a person has identified it and checked it.
03Re-checked weekly
Prices move and stock runs out. Every outfit page carries the date its prices were last verified, and sold out is labelled rather than quietly left up.

How do you decide what is trending?
Two inputs, both ours. The leaderboard ranks what visitors typed into the search box on this site over the last seven days. Everything below it is computed from the outfit archive itself, so a look only appears once a person has decoded it and checked its prices.
What is a dupe, exactly?
A separate product that matches the original on cut, fabric and silhouette, sold by a retailer you can order from. It is never the same item and we never present it as one. Every swap on this site is labelled as a swap.
Are the prices on this page current?
Prices are re-checked weekly and every outfit page shows the date it was last verified. Retailers change prices without warning, so treat the figure as accurate to the last check rather than to this second.
Can I find a full celebrity look under ₹5,000?
Often, yes. Sort the archive by budget and you will see complete looks that rebuild for less than ₹5,000, mostly in the airport, casual and sangeet categories where the original relies on one expensive piece rather than four.
